Naan is a leavened, baked bread that was started in India. Baked to perfection in a clay oven, naan has become a tradition during every traditional Indian meal. I love naan so much I have turned it into a pizza crust.
Ingredients:
Garlic Naan
Fresh Mozzarella
Vine ripened tomato (cubed)
White onion (sliced thin)
favorite pizza sauce
thin sliced pepperoni
Aged Parmesan
Take your garlic naan and spoon on pizza sauce. Place your pepperoni and onion slices over the sauce and then thinly slice your mozzarella and lay in strips on top. Once you have a few slices of mozzarella on top of your naan, place your tomato on top. Bake on your pizza stone at 500ºF until cheese is melted.
Serve hot and enjoy!
