Chocolate pizza dough needs no introductions. This is the ultimate way to serve any dessert pizza!
Ingredients:
2 c flour
1 package of pizza crust yeast
2 1/4 tablespoons of sugar
3 tablespoons of coco
2/3 c of hot water
1 tablespoon of melted butter
3/4 tablespoons of salt
Directions:
Combine 1/2 c flour, sugar, salt, yeast, and coco in to a large mixing bowl. Slowly add your hot water and stir until everything is well blended. Keep adding flour 1/2 c at a time until your dough starts to form. Once you have a sticky yet elastic consistency take your dough to a well floured station and knead it for about five minutes. This should smooth it out, however, do not over knead because you will destroy the gluten strands.
When you are ready to eat pat your dough out on a well floured pan. Bake at 425ºF for about 12-15 minutes and top with your favorite fruit, candy, or dessert topping and serve.
