In recent headlines, our very own President Trump has this to say, according to BBC news article, “The United States will not be a migrant camp,” he said at the White House. “And it will not be a refugee-holding facility, it won’t be.”
Trump, heavily criticizing European countries and how they have allowed immigrants into their own countries, Trump backfires with intent for U.S. to not make the same mistake.
The first that had been addressed is the adults who were illegal immigrants, many who were parents who had to be forced to leave their children. Many illegal immigrants make up the workforce in the U.S. What will this mean for the U.S. and its economic state?
The biggest issue that can be seen here is that parents and children are being separated from one another and as much as we should be enforcing laws, are we taking enough time to consider all of the options that can be offered to these illegal immigrants? In recent articles, there has been talk of children who have renewed their membership to stay within a program that allows them as illegal immigrant children to be able to stay within U.S as long as they arrived before 2007, but now they are also in a bind because that program may change. There was mention as well to allow the children to become U.S. citizens and get the process of citizenship going, but many believe that our own president would veto that action.
America, do you believe that Trump and his administration are going extreme with these actions or is it a just thing to do?
Where do you stand on this issue?
As business owners, how much production, how many people will you lose due to these more enforced immigration practices? Are you yourself as a business owner going to lose anything if not everything?
