As shared by NBC News online article, the U.S. Supreme Court based on a 5 to 4 decision, confirmed President Trump's restriction to travel to the U.S. from a number of Muslim countries. Based off of Trump and his administration, there was no relation to muslims being specifically banned, but rather it is to make sure that there is indeed a defense of the national security of the U.S. For the other countries that also hold Muslim people, they were cleared as far as the practices they have in place to make sure proper documentation is processed and deemed appropriate by the U.S. For many others who take a look at this event, they state that Trump is actually pushing for Muslims to be banned from traveling to the U.S. There are claims that do show that in the countries that are restricted from traveling to the U.S., they have majority Muslims. With those countries, they only account to about 8% of Muslims across the globe, so does the claim stand relevant? Another claim to note is that the countries that were restricted from traveling to the U.S. were also shown to have been labeled as posing risk to the U.S.
